Hemppy Holiday Sweet Potato Salad

Hemp is IN and here to stay, and when smothered over a delicious sweet potato salad... ohhh baby, let's just say you may get addicted! I know I am.
This is one of my favorite (SUPER SIMPLE) recipes to make. Great for switching up the Christmas dinner! Impress your guests with a new dish this season and uplevel your nutrition game too!
- 8 medium Sweet potatoes
- 2 cloves Raw garlic
- 1/2 cup Extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 cup Hemp seeds
- 1/2 cup chopped Parsley
- As you wish Sea salt
Ok so why hemp? Beyond the reason that they are easy to use and delicious, they are also SUPER CHARGED with nutrients!
Hemp Hearts may look little, but they contain 10 grams of plant-based protein and 10 grams of omega-3 and omega-6 per 30-gram serving (more than a comparable serving of flax or chia). There’s no need to grind or cook Hemp Hearts, they’re ready to eat straight from the bag and are simple to incorporate into your diet. You can try sprinkling them on salads, sprouted oatmeal, coconut kefir yogurt or even just blend them into smoothies. The possibilities are endless!
